| Day 2 | Enjoy Takayama | |||
| Enjoy morning bath and go to Takayama. Hida Takayama in the northern part of Gifu Prefecture is a castle town surrended by mountains. Takayama is best known for its carpenters, who worked on the imperial palace in Kyoto and on many of the temples in Nara. Like a few cities, Takayama has retained is full atmosphere of the Edo period thanks to its preserved old districts, temples, shrines, antique shops and sake breweries. | ![]() |

| Kanazawa was a prosperous castle town for over 300 years and the best-preserved major Edo-period city in the country. Since the city has not suffered from any war devastation or big natural disaster, it maintains rows of historical houses and inherits traditional handicrafts and traditional performing arts. | Day6-7 | Noto Peninsula | |||
| The Noto Peninsula, extending north and south, has two coastal areas: the northern part of the peninsula is called Oku-Noto, whose center is Wajima, noted for its production of a traditional Japanese handicraft, Wajima-nuri lacquerware. Sea salt locally harvested is also famous. The central and southern areas of Noto-hanto Peninsula has exposed bay eroded by high seas and a calmer area facing Nanao Bay, which creates dynamic coastal views. | ![]() |
